Missions

Missons

Knollwood Church is committed to the Great Commission. Our heart is to provide our missionaries with the necessary resources to accomplish the furthering of the gospel locally as well as globally.

The Knollwood Church family has been instrumental in building the church in Sambo Creek, Honduras. We have financially supported this building project and have also sent building crews on two different trips in 2008 to build the church. Together these teams laid the foundation, built the walls, and placed a roof on the building. Pastor Omar and Nora are the lead pastors at Sambo Creek Church. Pastor Omar and Betty (a leader in the church) donated the land to start the church in Sambo Creek in 2007. Each week their team ministers the gospel of Jesus to over 150 kids and 50 adults.

Our church is also reaching out to Israel to help the Jews by joining with Eiton Shishkoff and Tents of Mercy, which is a congregational ministry that focuses on discipleship and humanitarian aid to the poor. Tents of Mercy began in Israel in 1995 by Eiton Shishkoff with two home cell groups and a few cardboard boxes of humanitarian aid. Today, by the grace and compassion of God, it is a growing network of five Messianic congregations in the Galilee and a humanitarian aid warehouse/distribution center (www.tents-of-mercy.org).
